Ardmore Rock N' Ride raised funds for Narberth Ambulance.

Malvern Bank was a sponsor of this year’s Ardmore Rock N’ Ride held on Aug. 20, 2022, in Ardmore. The annual event – a bike ride and music festival – raised funds to purchase a new ambulance to serve 150,000 community members in Lower Merion, Narberth, Haverford, Conshohocken, and West Conshohocken.

“We couldn’t have reached our goal of purchasing a new ambulance without Malvern Bank’s support,” said Jeanine DiTomasso, Chief Philanthropy Officer for Narberth Ambulance. “Their investment in Narberth Ambulance ensures we have the highest quality equipment to respond to 10,000 emergency medical calls per year.”

“Malvern Bank is committed to the communities we serve,” said Anthony C. Weagley, President and CEO of Malvern Bank. “Narberth Ambulance supports 9-1-1, life-saving emergency services for 150,000 community members, 9,000 businesses, and thousands of their customers and clients. The bank and its employees are proud to support such an important initiative.”

Malvern Bank regularly demonstrates its commitment to its communities through several event sponsorships and through its charitable arm, The Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation. The Foundation was established in 2008 to support programs for housing assistance, local education, not-for-profit medical facilities, not-for-profit community groups, and other charitable causes that contribute to the quality of life in the local community.

Furthermore, Malvern Bank is hosting a free seminar – “Gainful Giving: Charitable Giving Seminar” – on Nov. 29 at Historic Yellow Springs in Chester Springs. The seminar will offer important information on how nonprofits’ financial needs can intersect with donor dollars in the most mutually beneficial way.
