Collegeville Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar opens Nov. 8.

Glen Mills restaurateur Dave Magrogan’s ninth Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar opens today, Nov. 8, in the Providence Town Center, Collegeville.

It’s a landmark moment for the chain, which has four other locations in the Phila. suburbs and four elsewhere nationwide: It marks the restaurant’s first new opening since the retreat of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new site, with its 8,000-sq.-ft. footprint, takes the place of the former Champps, a sports bar chain that vacated the Town Center spot in July 2021.

Harvest Seasonal Grill is employing about 60 people to serve its 270 indoor-outdoor seats. Operating partner is Lauren Mendicino, a Harvest and Dave Magrogan Group 12-year veteran.

Harvest Collegeville will continue to deliver on the brand’s mission of providing seasonally changing, locally sourced dishes, many of which are under 500 calories. “We’re really excited to open this new location after grinding through the pandemic over the past two-and-a-half years,” said Magrogan. “I am so proud of our teams at each and every location who not only got us through tough times but exceeded our expectations and made us an even stronger company today.”
