A new Amazon Fresh location is rumored to be making its home in Bucks County soon, the latest food store to make its way into the area. Dino Ciliberti wrote about the new grocer for the Bensalem Patch.

An Amazon Fresh location is supposed to be opening at the former K-Mart on Street Road in Bensalem, a 20-minute drive from Bryn Athyn. While this has not been confirmed by the brand’s parent, many believe that it will be hosting the latest store in the nationwide chain.

“The site work is done. It looks nice,” Council President Joseph Knowles said. “Hopefully they will open soon.”

 $32,785 in escrow was asked for the project by Bensalem MZL, a New York City commercial real estate developer. The amount was approved at a township meeting on Sept. 27.

The chain currently has one Bucks County location in Warrington.
