While home prices are starting to slowly drop nationwide, many local towns are still seeing record-high prices as inventory remains low and demand high, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

In fact, four ZIP Codes in Montgomery County are among the 10 in Greater Philadelphia with the largest home-price increases in July.

While the median list price in the Philadelphia metro area was up 6.2 percent year over year in July, many suburban towns blew last year’s price tags out of the water.

This includes ZIP Code 19044 (Horsham), which took the top spot in the region with an astonishing 169 percent increase. The current median list price there is $873,990.

ZIP Code 18947 (Telford) placed second with an increase of 101 percent and a median list price of $699,900.

ZIP Code 19010 (Bryn Mawr) also made the list at No. 9 place with a 60 percent change. Finally, ZIP Code 19446 (Lansdale) checked in at No. 10 with a 51 percent increase.
