There’s a new spiked iced tea, Shore Tea, being brewed by Wawa and the Cape May Brewing Co., writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Shore Tea is brewed with Wawa peach iced tea but also contains alcohol by volume of 4.5 percent.

Six packs became available July 21 at 15 select Wawas in Pennsylvania where beer is sold.

On Monday, Shore Tea went on sale at select alcohol retailers in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey.

The Shore Tea six pack costs $12.99.

“We were excited when Wawa reached out to us with the possibility of collaborating,” said Ryan Krill, the CEO of Cape May Brewing Co. “We’re huge fans, and many of our crew members make Wawa a regular part of their routines.”

Wawa partnered last year with 2SP Brewing Co. in Aston to create a summertime “Sunfest” sandy using Wawa’s strawberry lemonade. During winter, Wawa has partnered with 2SP to create winter seasonal stouts based on Wawa coffees.
