The Business Improvement District will launch its seasonal farmers market on June 4.

The City Ave District Farmers Market is set to open its 2022 season on Saturday, June 4.

The market will take place in the parking lot at One Belmont Avenue in Bala Cynwyd and operate on Saturday mornings from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The market is rain or shine.

The farmers market, which will be held through November 19, will include more than 50 local artists and artisans, food trucks, and farm vendors offering fresh fruits and vegetables, cut flowers, hard cider, homemade bagels, baked goods, prepared foods, and more.

On select Saturdays, there will be kid-friendly activities, entertainment and local beer tastings.

“As a business improvement district we’re always looking at ways in which we can bring the community together, support local businesses and promote a healthy lifestyle,” said Bryan Fenstermaker, President and CEO of City Ave District. “The City Ave District Farmers Market is an opportunity to do all of that and more. With more than 50 local vendors and artisans, along with free, family-friendly entertainment, there will be a little bit for everyone each Saturday.”

The City Ave District Farmers Market is made possible by Friends of the Bala Cynwyd Farmers Market, Farm to City, Keystone Property Group and City Ave District.
