Penn Community Bank continues its support of relief efforts for those displaced by the conflict in Ukraine. The local financial institution has contributed 5,000 to the New Promise Foundation, a Bristol-based nonprofit assisting Ukrainian nationals in Pa.

“We are very excited and honored to be a recipient of this grant from our local Penn Community Bank, said Irena Gamkiv, member of the board of directors of New Promise Foundation.

“The funds will enable us to extend our help to even more locally based families with children, including those who have just arrived from Ukraine and need assistance with housing, food, school supplies and other basic necessities.

“We are very grateful to all our local partners for the ongoing assistance they provide,” she concluded.
