One of the largest malls in the country to shop at is in Montgomery County, writes Unindita Bhatia for The Travel.
There are several malls in the United States with many stores and lots of areas to walk. Some say, with the advent of online shopping (as well as home delivery) that the mall culture is slowly dying, but The Travel says mall culture doesn’t just vanish.
The King of Prussia Mall, coming in at Number 8 on the list, offers just about everything you could hope for in a mall.
The mall, located at 160 North Gulph Road in King of Prussia, was always big, and now with the addition of the connector that added more retail shops, this makes the KoP Mall the largest mall in the United States with approximately 3 million square feet of retail space.
Shopping trips to the largest mall on the East Coast (although a Florida developer wants to dethrone the KoP Mall for an even bigger one) include great retail shopping, dining, art exhibits, hotels and more.
Visit Philly notes that there are 450 stores and the mall welcomes approximately 20 million visitors a year as the largest retail space in the U.S.
