The five-bedroom, 2-1/2-bath Wallingford home had a lot going for it when Hong Lin and her husband, Jinbin Zhai, decided to move there from Drexel Hill in 2004, writes Paul Jablow for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

They liked the 2,340 square-foot spacious layout of the Colonial and the “very quiet and picturesque” Wallingford neighborhood. It was an easy commute to the city, where they both work as research scientists.

Best of all was being able to send their two sons to the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District.

Things have changed slightly since then. Their two sons are in college and the couple, who emigrated from Beijing in 1999, has new career opportunities in Tennessee.

And so, the home is up for sale.

There is a landscaped backyard with fish pond.

The 2,340-square-foot house is listed by Susan Lindsey of RE/MAX Town & Country for $525,000.
