
Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Program Coordinator of Equity, Diversity, and Belonging (EDB) position.
The Program Coordinator of EDB supports and runs all EDB programming initiatives, including but not limited to event management, training programs, and other special institutional and community-based projects as they relate to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
This is a college-wide position, working in close collaboration with faculty, staff, administrators, and the community, with some night and weekend hours required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training/Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ directly related work experience in student life, cultural affairs or a related field with demonstrated experience developing effective programming, training or professional development opportunities for students and/or employees.
- Experience working in higher education, community college experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Colleague, and social media platforms.
- Effective communicator who is detail oriented and able to prioritize.
- Ability to maintain utmost confidentiality, and a strong work ethic.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, high energy, dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Exemplary customer service skills and mindset.
- Ability to work in a team/collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience developing and leading college programming.
- Ability to embody the mission and values of the College.
