NAMI (The National Alliance on Mental Illness) Montgomery County PA (MontCoPa), is seeking an engaging, energetic Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator.

The Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for establishing and stewarding community partnerships that identify with our mission-driven work, oversight of recruiting, training, and sustaining volunteers, and managing our adult NAMI signature programs provided to the community.

This position has a unique opportunity to evaluate our current volunteer program and reshape, if appropriate. NAMI MontCoPa offers a pleasant working environment and an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.

Primary responsibilities include:

Program Management, Volunteer Management, and Community Outreach.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to helping people impacted by mental illness build better lives.

Additionally, the candidate will possess exemplary written and verbal communication, strong public speaking skills, be organized, dependable, and have strong interpersonal skills. Occasional night and weekend hours are required of this position.
