Baederwood Pharmacy has purchased Abington Pharmacy, they recently announced.

Baederwood Pharmacy has moved out of their prior location in Jenkintown and will operate out of Abington Pharmacy which is located at 1460 Old York Road in Abington, moving forward.

While both stores have been around for over 50 years, this merger of Baederwood Pharmacy with Abington Pharmacy is a way to keep the locally-owned, independent pharmacy alive.

Although the Baederwood name will be retired and the two pharmacies will operate as Abington Pharmacy moving forward, they are keeping the same friendly faces from both locations so customers can still see and rely on the people they have known for years.

The families from both pharmacies look forward to working together as one team, in one location, to offer even better personalized service and gift selections to their customers and to continue being your trusted neighborhood pharmacy for many more decades to come. 

Of note, they are also doing COVID-19 tests and vaccinations are available at Abington Pharmacy.
