Life Sciences PA Moving to New Headquarters in King of Prussia
Life Sciences PA (LSPA) has announced they are moving its headquarters from its current location on Swedesford Rd. in Wayne to 411 Swedeland Road in King of Prussia, PA.
The expanded space and rising hub of life sciences in southeastern PA will be the Association’s new home beginning February 2022.
“The decision to move was made due to the continued growth of our membership and with our members’ needs at the forefront. We look forward to providing exceptional service in the new space to our entire membership, which now numbers more than 860 organizations,” said Christopher Molineaux, president and CEO of LSPA. “The new headquarters will provide more resources to best serve our membership, all in an easily accessible location.”
The Center will continue to operate at full capacity in this new location, and new amenities will allow their PA members to utilize the space to its full potential. With additional conference and meeting room options, auditoriums for programming, and enhanced technology, the Association will have multiple spaces to gather the life sciences community and opportunities for member use.
“We are thrilled to be new neighbors to the University of Pennsylvania Gene Therapy Program, the Discovery Labs, and dozens of member companies in and around our new location. Situated in an innovative hub of research and discovery, LSPA will continue to advocate for a public policy environment and facilitate strategic connections that benefit our member organizations,” Molineaux continued.
“There is tremendous opportunity inherent in this company’s choice to relocate. With science and innovation surrounding them, they can further their mission and reach even higher levels of member satisfaction. I know this change will usher in a new era of success for the association and, in turn, for the life sciences industry,” said Terri Lee Taylor, Chairman of the Life Sciences Pennsylvania Board of Directors.
“I’m pleased LSPA chose to move its headquarters to King of Prussia and Pennsylvania’s 149th legislative district,” said Pennsylvania State Representative Tim Briggs. “As a co-chair of the Pennsylvania House Life Sciences Caucus I recognize the importance of our innovative life sciences community to patients and the commonwealth’s economy. I look forward to the continued growth as they work to create a business and public policy climate that incentivizes research, development and job creation.”
LSPA is the statewide trade association for the commonwealth’s life sciences industry.
The LSPA membership includes more than 860 organizations, representing biotechnology, medical device, diagnostic, pharmaceutical, research, and investment entities, along with myriad service providers who support the industry. Together with its membership, LSPA unifies Pennsylvania’s innovators to make the commonwealth a global life sciences leader.
