Almac Group, with its U.S. headquarters in Souderton, is planning to hire 300 people over the next three years to grow its U.S. operations, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The majority of these new jobs will be in Montgomery County.

Here the global contract pharmaceutical development and manufacturing organization has two more locations in addition to its Souderton headquarters, in Lansdale and Audubon. Currently, the company has over 1,500 employees at these three sites.

Almac has its global headquarters in Northern Ireland and has additional U.S. offices in Durham, North Carolina, and San Francisco.

The new positions will include operational, supervisory, and managerial roles. There will be jobs available to both recent graduates and experienced workers.

The company is expecting overall to add 1,500 jobs globally over the next three years, which will increase its total number of employees to 8,000 across its 19 facilities in Europe, Asia, and the United States.

“As demand for our services steadily increases, our aim is to continue to grow our global team,” said Alan Armstrong, CEO of Almac Group.
