Nine Montgomery County School Districts Are Among Top 50 in Pennsylvania for 2022

Montgomery County is home to nine of the top 50 school districts in Pennsylvania for 2022, according to a recently published ranking by Niche.

To determine the 2022 Best School Districts in Pennsylvania, Niche performed a rigorous analysis of data from the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews submitted by students and parents.

Various factors that were evaluated include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ATC scores, teacher quality, and more.

The highest-ranked Montgomery County school district is once again Lower Merion School District in fourth place. It has an average graduation rate of 97 percent, with 88 percent of its students proficient in reading and 79 percent proficient in math.

The School District of Upper Dublin is next in eleventh place, followed by Wissahickon School District at No. 15.

Colonial School District and Spring-Ford Area School District also broke into the top 20 at No. 16 and No. 20, respectively.

Lower Moreland Township School District is not far behind at No. 24.

Next are Perkiomen Valley School District and Jenkintown School District are at No. 32 and No. 45, respectively.

Finally, the list is rounded off by North Penn School District in No. 47.
