Dave Zellers is the Director of Commerce of Montgomery County and is most proud of how his career continues to evolve. “I am fortunate to have worked all throughout Pennsylvania while developing great friendships on each step of the journey,” he states.

He credits several people in his journey: “There are 2 teachers and 4 professors who had a profound impact at each stage of my education. Mrs. Lentz and Mr. Heffner in high school, Dr. Kulbicki and Dr. Altman in undergrad, and Dr. Barilleaux and Dr. Russo in graduate school,” Dave shared.

“I’ve also been blessed with tremendous mentors from all around the state, folks like Jim Becker from Crawford County, Mandy Book at DCED, and Bill Fontana from the Pennsylvania Downtown Center,” Dave says.

Working in Norristown, Dave Zellers feels Montgomery County has such tremendous diversity. “We’re so fortunate to have what feels like an endless list of places to explore & things to do along with an extraordinary collection of employers and leaders throughout our amazing communities.”
