Keystone Property Group has submitted a proposal to turn the office building next to Plymouth Meeting Mall into a residential building, writes Kevin Tierney for More Than The Curve.

Keystone Property Group, which is the developer on SORA West in Conshohocken, presented its proposal during the council’s meeting on June 7.

In 2015, the developer planned to turn the nine-story One Plymouth Meeting at 502 West Germantown Pike into “the workplace of tomorrow” before withdrawing those plans.

Then in 2019, SageLife Senior Living was interested in acquiring the building from Keystone and redeveloping it into units for independent and assisted living for older adults. However that deal also fell through.

Now, Keystone is hoping to move forward with a residential project for the building.

But to help move these plans along, Keystone would have to seek relief from the zoning hearing board or ask for a text amendment to the zoning code that needs to be provided by the council.
