There are tons of exciting things to do this May in Montgomery County. Here are some of our favorites at the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board. Please review guidelines provided by individual event organizers for safety precautions and standards before attending.

48th Annual Yellow Springs Art Show
5.1 – 5.23 | Historic Yellow Springs

Join us for our first-ever hybrid Yellow Springs Art Show. Stroll or scroll your way through the galleries featuring works in 2-D and 3-D from almost 200 juried artists from the Delaware Valley and beyond! The show has been extended from two weeks to four weeks to reduce crowding and will run from April 24 – May 23. The galleries in the Lincoln building will be open daily from 10 am – 4 pm.

Annual Colonial Mayfair
5.1 | Pottsgrove Manor

Visitors of all ages are invited to celebrate the arrival of spring on Saturday, May 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Pottsgrove Manor’s Annual Colonial Mayfair. This outdoor event is a suggested $2 donation and brings an 18th-century style market fair to life with vendors, performances, and living history demonstrations that everyone can enjoy.

Free Art Exhibit | Ouroboros – Works by Jordan Kressley
5.1 | Black Moth Tattoo & Gallery 

For the month of May new works by illustrator Jordan Kressley will be on display in the gallery. A fairly recent graduate in the field of illustration Kressley has made the wise decision to stick to traditional hands on mediums, quickly and adeptly honing the skills of chalk pastels. In an age of digital content one can drown in these works on paper that have tediously been labored upon are a fresh breath on art. 

Spring Fling

For Mother’s Day gifts or just something special for yourself, come to the Heritage Center at 105 Seminary Street on Saturday, May 1. Our Spring Fling, a special shopping event, is outdoors and socially distanced. The sale includes Heritage Center gift items, crafters, and a rummage sale of new and used books and treasures! Willow Grove Park Mall Diaper Drive

Willow Grove Park Mall has partnered with The Greater Philadelphia Diaper Bank to support local families that are experiencing a diaper need. Every baby should be clean, dry, healthy and happy. Diaper donations can be dropped off at LOFT and Gap Kids through Sunday, May 16 during normal mall hours. We are accepting unopened diapers of all sizes and brands for babies and toddlers. LOFT – Donate a box of diapers and receive 15% off your full-price purchase (excluding Lou & Grey). Gap Kids – Donate a box of diapers and receive 10% off your entire purchase!

Socially Distanced Guided History Tour at Cairnwood

Guided tours of Cairnwood Estate reveal the personal history of this grand Beaux-Arts country house. Tour participants discover the private side of the family and its integral role in founding the Bryn Athyn community.
