Montgomery County ZIP Codes Where COVID-19 Has Spread the Most and the Least over the Last Week
Continuing this month’s trend, the number of new COVID-19 cases in Montgomery County continued to drop over the last seven days in February, write Sean Adams and Megan Lavey-Heaton for the Harrisburg Patriot-News.
The latest numbers compiled by Pennsylvania Department of Health highlight the rates of COVID-19 infection in each ZIP Code statewide for the seven days ending February 17 compared to infection rates for the seven days prior.
The highest percentage increase, 3%, in Montgomery County over this period was in 19468, Royersford, to raise the number of cases to 1,543.
Next is ZIP Code 19428, in Conshohocken. Here cases increased by 3 percent to reach 887, and ZIP Code 19044, in Horsham, with a 3 percent increase to raise cases to 764. Still, new cases are slowing down.
Meanwhile, some ZIP Codes continue to report lower or no rises. These include ZIP Code 19465 in Kenilworth with a one percent increase of three new cases, and ZIP Code 19401 with a 1.2 percent increase in cases.
ZIP Codes 19436, North Wales, and 19009, Bryn Athyn, reported no new cases at zero percent.
