Pottstown Fashionista Empowers Women While Rocking a Gucci Belt

Iesha Vincent, a Pottstown fashionista, shares her thoughts on fashion, beauty, and motherhood on her popular blog, LivingLesh, writes Madison Duddy for the Main Line Today.
She decided to start her blog when she realized there were few people on her social channels who represented or looked like her.
“I wanted people to have someone who styled for petite sizes and was an African-American girl of color,” said Vincent.
However, now that her blog has a substantial following, she likes to use it as a platform to “empower women in the African-American community, and to empower mothers who don’t want to feel guilty for working.”
One of the things important to her in fashion is redefining luxury. For her, luxury means being at ease, comfortable, and having a great time. But achieving this does not have to come from owning a certain brand.
Still, that does not mean she will not occasionally splurge, like on her black Gucci belt.
“It goes with so many looks,” she said.
For this fall, she is looking forward to trends that include “off-the-shoulder sweaters, knee-high or thigh-high boots, and dresses belted at the waistline.”
