Haverford College's Founders Hall. In the latest rankings from Niche, two Montgomery County Colleges, Haverford and Bryn Mawr College, made the Top 100 in 2024 Best Colleges list.

Haverford College ranked in the top ten best liberal art colleges in the nation, with Bryn Mawr College also making the top fifty, writes Ellen Dewitt for the KAKE.com.

The list was compiled by Stacker using Niche’s 2021 rankings. Niche considers liberal arts colleges to be those that do not have the goal to necessarily train students for a career but “to challenge their beliefs, make them critical thinkers, and poise them to become global citizens.”

Haverford College ranked seventh on the list, which makes it the highest-ranked liberal arts college in Pennsylvania. At Haverford, the majority of students choose to live on campus. The school follows an honor code that allows students to take unsupervised exams and have non-stop access labs.

Haverford has a graduation rate of 92 percent, six-year median earnings of $60,700, and a two-year employment rate of 92 percent.

Meanwhile, Bryn Mawr College ranked at No. 31. The college founded by Quakers is a prestigious member of the Seven Sisters schools.

It has a graduation rate of 87 percent, six-year median earnings of $54,600, and a two-year employment rate of 88 percent.
