Lansdale-Based Boardroom Spirits Kickstarting New Canned Cocktail Line
Lansdale-based Boardroom Spirits has launched its new line of Vodka and Soda cocktails, further diversifying its product range during the pandemic, writes Laura Smythe for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
When the pandemic closed area restaurants for on-premises dining, the four-year-old distillery pivoted to selling pre-made bottled cocktails made using freshly-squeezed juices and housemade syrups. When the bottled mixed drinks proved to be a success, Boardroom decided to grow its pre-packaged drinks line.
The new cocktails use the family-owned distillery’s flagship Fresh vodka brand, backed by celebrity chef Robert Irvine. Cranberry lime flavor is made with cranberry vodka, grapefruit citrus flavor with citrus vodka, and pineapple ginger with ginger vodka.
A four-pack of 12-ounce cans costs $12.99. Each contains 99 calories and has 4.5 percent alcohol.
“The recent success of our ready-to-drink bottled cocktails supports the appeal and loyalty to our growing brand,” said co-owner Marat Mamedov. “While there are innumerable hard seltzers or canned spirit choices out there, we believe our product offers the same high quality we built our reputation on that fans love and expect, now with even greater convenience.”
The new drinks are available on the distillery’s e-commerce store for pickup and delivery.
