Nappen & Associates, the Montgomeryville-based industrial real estate developer and property manager, has added Dräger, a Germany-based medical and safety technology manufacturer, to its tenants.

The manufacturer has signed a lease with Nappen for a 45,660-square-foot industrial building in the Montgomeryville Industrial Center. This state-of-the-art facility is equipped with six tailgates, one drive-in door, and a 24-foot high ceiling.

Executive Vice President of Nappen, Connie Riegler, played a key role in securing the lease.

The new tenant will play a crucial role in combating COVID-19 by manufacturing some of the essential protective gear necessary to curtail the spread of the virus.

“We at Dräger are proud to play our part in providing healthcare professionals and first responders with the critical supplies they need in the fight against COVID-19,” said Lothar Thielen, President and CEO for Dräger in North America. “Our new facility in Montgomeryville, Pa. will manufacture N95 respiratory masks, which are an essential form of personal protective equipment in short supply during the pandemic.”

He added that in addition to meeting the needs of its customers during a challenging time, the company will also be “generating jobs for hardworking Americans.”

Dräger currently has around 14,500 employees around the globe and a presence in 190 countries.
