Tom and Rachel Ammon of Springfield are high school sweethearts whose relationship has grown over the years to make them one of Philadelphia suburbs’ power couples, writes Melissa Jacobs for the Main Line Today.

Tom works as a senior manager of lifestyle production at QVC, while Rachel works as the director of marketing and communications for King of Prussia BID.

But despite two busy careers, the pair always finds time for their two sons and an extended group of family and friends. And they always make their marriage a priority.

“We put effort into staying connected but having space at the same time,” said Tom.

However the couple did not always have it easy. Before his job at QVC, Tom worked a lot of overtime hours at an advertising agency while Rachel raised their two children while holding a part-time job at Main Line Art Center.

This lack of work-family balance took its toll, so the pair made sure to change their careers to better fit their family. Now, both enjoy their new careers and the balance they have been able to achieve in life.
