Montgomery County hotels and business operations are continuing to welcome out-of-county and local guests as the county officials monitor the coronavirus situation closely.

“As an organization that works closely with tourists and guests both internationally and domestically, the health and well-being of our county residents remains a top priority to the VFTCB,” said Mike Bowman, President and CEO of the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board.

“We are taking the Coronavirus situation very seriously by monitoring it closely, but we’re still trying to remain optimistic and are encouraged by the business and foot traffic we’re still seeing.”

In order to ensure the highest level of safety for guests and visitors in Montgomery County, local businesses and hotels have elevated their cleaning protocol to decrease the spread of germs.

In addition, the Montgomery County Office of Public Health and the Department of Public Safety officials are working to ensure necessary protocols for dealing with the coronavirus are put in place. This is in addition to the already existing policies that deal with infectious disease outbreaks.

“We have full faith in our county government and health leaders that Montgomery County is prepared,” said Bowman.
