County Commissioners To Kick Off Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board’s ‘Tourism Talks’ Series on Thursday
Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board is retiring its Speaker Series event and replacing it with a new, innovative, and dynamic community panel titled Tourism Talks.
Throughout the year, Tourism Talks will pop up at various Montgomery County locations with experts on different topics, such as marketing the visitor experience, leadership, and trends.
The first installment of the series will take place on February 27 at The Venue at Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia.
This will feature Montgomery County Commissioners – Chair Dr. Valerie Arkoosh, Vice Chair Kenneth Lawrence, and Commissioner Joe Gale. They will sit in front of more than 150 guests with moderator and VFTCB Director of Communications Rachel Riley.
The commissioners will answer community submitted questions relating to county and government topics such as tourism, transportation, economic development, and more.
The Welcome Reception for the free event will start at 4 p.m. with the Panel Discussion beginning at 5 p.m. Anyone wishing to attend can register here.
Also, as a new feature, community members who wish to submit their questions to the panel can do so by emailing Rachel Riley ahead of the event.
