Hobart’s Run and Pottstown Area Industrial Development planners are already hard at work preparing this year’s Fete en Blanc, the popular Party in White that will take place on Sept. 18 at Smith Family Plaza at Pottstown Borough Hall.

Last year, the everybody-wears-all-white, last-hurrah-of-summer party was capped at 500 attendees.

The eclectic and enthusiastic group of local and not-so-local folks enjoyed food and beverages from Pottstown’s excellent restaurants while being entertained by live music.

This year’s party will be even bigger, as the cap has been increased to 700. Due to the size of the event, a nominal fee of $10 per person will be charged to help cover essential costs.

The organizers are currently looking for corporate or other sponsors who can further help offset the costs of the event. There are both $100 and $250 sponsorships available.

The former comes with a business card-sized ad in the program and two free guest registrations. Meanwhile, the latter includes an attractive banner at the event and four free guest registrations.

The updated Pottstown Fete en Blanc website will be available on April 1. Registrations on the site will be accepted on first-come, first-served bases.
