Elmwood Park Zoo To Celebrate 95th Anniversary With First Ever Black Tie Gala Featuring Philly POPS

Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown will celebrate its 95th anniversary on Nov. 14 with a first-ever Black Tie Gala featuring The Philly POPS, the nation’s largest standalone pops orchestra.

The evening of celebratory-revelry will be held at Bluestone Country Club in Blue Bell. In addition to toasting to its rich history, the zoo will also unveil its plans for a bright and prosperous future.

The event will feature music, gourmet dinner, open bars, and dancing. The guests will also get the chance to enjoy several meet and greets with the animals

The individual tickets for this event are priced at $300, while a table of 10 will cost $2,500.

In addition to the gala, the zoo has been marking its 95 year milestone with a year-long celebration that include discounted admission, fundraisers, and special events, among many other things.

This includes providing the first 95 guests on each Monday throughout the year with a discounted $9.95 admission and giving guests age 95 years or older free admission to the zoo all year round.
