The 2019 Philadelphia Folk Festival returns to Montco
Celebrating its 58th year, making it the longest continuously running outdoor music festival in North America, the Philadelphia Folk Festival will take over Montco August 15-18.
With four days filled with good music and good company, the Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford Township will transform into a music-lover’s dream. Of course, once the last songs are played each day and the bands must pack up, the fun can continue all throughout the Montgomery County area!

In terms of food, there is a plethora just steps from the festival. The Rising Sun Inn in Telford provides a warm and inviting atmosphere as you dine in a renovated barn house from the 1800’s. If you’re too tired to get dressed up, grab a slice of pizza at Chiaro’s Pizzeria Restaurant and enjoy their delicious wood-fired creations in a laid back and comfortable setting. The Mill also provides a rustic charm with wood-fire pizza and comfort food that will hit the spot after a long day of dancing.
Relax by an outdoor fireplace and don’t even leave your hotel at The Porch inside the Courtyard Marriot in Lansdale. A dining hidden gem in the area is the Woodside Lodge at Spring Mountain, which provides indoor and outdoor seating with an extensive menu and picturesque views of the greenery and mountains.
