The folks at Unisys must be flying high after landing a multi-million dollar contract with the United State Air Force.

With the contract, signed earlier this year, Unisys agrees to provide the Air Force with IT support services and device management, with the goal of facilitating faster processing and sharing of information, enabling military forces to use sensors in the field to collect data, chat with commanders in real-time and use single shared workspaces that integrate with multiple applications to improve collaboration.

The contract is for one year with renewal options and will include eight Air Force bases, including one in Germany and the other seven here in the U.S.

The lucrative contract is just one small piece of government work the company is shooting for this year, with more than $12 billion in contracts coming up in the coming years.
