King of Prussia Mall bolsters its high-end roster
The lineup just got a little more heavy-hitting for the King of Prussia Mall.
The shopping mecca added Christian Louboutin, the iconic French designer brand behind the red-sole shoes, and Kendra Scott, the Austin-based fashion and lifestyle brand, in time for holiday season shopping, the mall announced in a statement.
The Christian Louboutin store, which is expected before the end of the year, will be the brand’s first Pennsylvania location. Shoppers can find it between Neiman Marcus and Macy’s. The Kendra Scott location, which opened in late September, is near Macy’s and The Gap and in the new expansion corridor, writes Ellie Silverman in philly.com.

The expansion corridor, completed last August, is a 155,000-square foot addition that houses 50 retailers. Most of the retailers are luxury brands, like eyewear retailer Oliver Peoples, Italian apparel retailer Bottega Veneta, upscale brand Rag & Bone, and luxury Italian furniture retailer Calligaris.
Having these new, exciting names open in time for the holiday shopping season will certainly be another compelling reason to visit the property,” mall manager Bob Hart said in a release.
King of Prussia is considered an A++ mall with $975 in sales per square foot, tops in the Philadelphia/South Jersey region, and a 1.2 percent vacancy rate, well below the national average of 5.3 percent.
“King of Prussia is one of many malls which have established high standards,” said national mall expert Mark Hunter at CBRE Inc. “While some malls are in need of being re-developed . . . the top echelon – including King of Prussia – endure because of their market dominance and compelling mix of tenants.”
