This melting pot of cultures provides an original perspective on American summer dining. Executive chef Mtele Abubakar, who hails from Kenya, states, “We have a lot of fun surprising our guests with new favorite versions of the dishes they have grown to love.” Some of his favorites include:

YELLOW GAZPACHO: pickled vegetables

“It’s like eating yellow sunshine in a bowl.” This is The Farmer’s Daughter’s take on traditional chilled tomato soup with a twist.

CRISPY FRIED GREEN TOMATOES: black garlic tahini aioli, peach marmalade

Tangy green tomatoes, fried to a crispy golden crunch, are a warm and craveable slice of summer.

PRAWNS & PEACH WAFFLES: grilled prawns, chicory salad, soy mustard dressing

Not your traditional Chicken & Waffles. No need for syrup when you blend the flavors of seafood with the sweetness of grilled peaches, the spice of chicory greens, and the tang of soy mustard dressing.

World-renowned pastry chef Sam Nahaas of  Jordan got his summer dessert inspiration for sorbets, mousse flavors, and cake inspiration from fruits and berries that are at the height of freshness in the summer. “People always save room for dessert however in the summer, it’s a lot lighter, refreshing, and palette cleansing,” states chef Sam. Some of his favorites include:

PINK LEMONADE CHEESECAKE BOMBE

A pink lemonade cheesecake indulgence filled with pink grapefruit curd & a cocoa nib crust

RED VELVET CHOCOLATE CHIP HOUSEMADE GELATO

Chunks of red velvet cake & chocolate chips

SPICED GUAVA HOUSEMADE SORBET

A spicy blend of ginger & pink peppercorns

The grill masters will be coming out of the kitchen during lunch to grill sizzling Summertime Skewers. Consider starting your meal with “shareables” like Super Green Goddess Hummus with Kale Chips, or maybe even our Local Farmstead Cheese Board. Complete your meal with Chef Sam’s Strawberry Shortcake with homemade vanilla sponge cake, pastry cream, marinated berries, and whipped cream, layered in a glass goblet.

Every great meal should have a sweet ending.
