Fox Chase Cancer Center has established a dedicated outpatient cancer care facility is operating on the campus of Suburban Community Hospital at 2701 DeKalb Pike, East Norriton.

The center offers patients a broad range of cancer care services, including immunotherapy, radiation oncology and medical oncology services for a variety of cancer types, writes Gary Puleo at thereporteronline.com.

Originally built as the $8 million Mercy Cancer Center in 2012, the facility has expanded under Fox Chase — which has entered into a lease agreement with Suburban Community Hospital to rent the space for an undisclosed amount — with two full floors of space, including a linear accelerator for radiation treatments, flexible clinic space with seven exam rooms, an infusion center with seven infusion chairs, and a peaceful garden where patients and caregivers can relax.
