Medical marijuana dispensary Ilera Healthcare in Plymouth Meeting knows image is everything

Ilera Healthcare will open on April 20 its medical marijuana dispensary at 420 Plymouth Meeting Road in Plymouth Meeting, and the new dispensary has hired a Philadelphia integrated marketing communications agency to be the agency of record when it opens this month.

The agency’s goal is to create awareness and increase understanding for the emerging, rapidly changing and, often times, misunderstood marijuana market, writes Kenneth Hilario in the Philadelphia Business Journal.

A number of companies are entering Pennsylvania’s medical marijuana market as cultivators, processors or dispensers, while some – like Ilera — are integrated.

Ilera’s picked LevLane as its agency of record, charged with creating a brand strategy and marketing campaigns, among others.

Ilera’s dispensary was approved in January this year, among eight medical marijuana dispensaries approved by Pennsylvania to begin operations, including Cure Pennsylvania in Phoenixville, Chester County.
