Tech Talk: Radnor-based Qlik going global

The new CEO of the software company has plans to take his data analytics firm to the rest of the world.

Mike Capone isn’t really an office guy. Two months on the job, the new CEO of data analytic software heavy hitter Qlik has brought one personal touch into his office on the third floor of the company’s Radnor headquarters, a photo of himself and his 11-year-old daughter. Other than that, he keeps it simple. Employees are free to use it as a meeting space when he’s traveling — a frequent occurrence, writes Michelle Caffrey for Philadelphia Business Journal.

Qlik was founded in Sweden in 1993 before relocating its headquarters to Radnor in 2006. It employs more than 2,000 people worldwide, meaning much of Capone’s time is dedicated to its global reach. Since coming into the role in January, he’s already spent time in Europe and is planning on trips to Singapore and Japan next quarter.
