Aiming to go above and beyond what a typical sandwich shop delivers in a neighborhood, Potbelly Sandwich Shop  wants to be the neighborhood hangout.

Potbelly Sandwich Shop, 650 Carnegie Blvd., opened in mid-January, bringing its selection of made-to-order sandwiches, salads, soups, shakes and freshly baked cookies to Malvern. “Our shop is looking to exceed our customers’ expectations with our warm and toasty sandwiches,” said John Joyce, general manager, adding that Potbelly Sandwich shop is committed to “serving simple ingredients done right,” writes Donna Rovins in The Pottstown Mercury.

Potbelly features fresh ingredients and cool decor that includes photos, paintings and items that reflect the locale of the restaurant.  It also features live music from home-grown musicians and a strong affiliation with nonprofit organizations in the area.

Joyce said “kindness and the spirit of generosity” are part of the culture and history of the company and Potbelly supports its neighborhoods through in-shop fundraisers. Non-profit organizations can contact Joyce directly to schedule an in-shop fundraiser and visit www.potbelly.com/fundraising for more information.
