There are hundreds of private schools in Pennsylvania, including Catholic schools, boarding schools, day schools and more.

The schools with the highest academic rankings are also the most expensive and they are largely based in the Philadelphia suburbs, writes Candy Woodall for pennlive.com. 


Some of them are so expensive they cost more than a full year of tuition at a Pennsylvania college or university.

This list shows the 25 most expensive private schools in Pennsylvania, least to most. The yearly tuition includes boarding costs where applicable and does not reflect financial aid or other discounts that may be included for some students.
