The Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board’s Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Edward Harris, was recently named to the Philadelphia Business Journal’s prestigious 40 Under 40 list.

Harris was selected for the honor from more than 400 nominees. The PBJ list recognizes young professionals in the Greater Philadelphia region for outstanding success and contributions to their community.

They represent some the region’s most entrepreneurial and influential up-and-comers.

Also, Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI), the world’s largest association resource for official Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs), inducted VFTCB Creative Director Joe Tacynec into its 2017 “30 Under 30” class at the Association’s Annual Convention in Montreal.

Tacynec joins a distinguished class of honorees from a variety of DMOs of all sizes, including Meet Puerto Rico, Destination D.C., and Brand USA.

DMAI is comprised of more than 4,100 professionals from nearly 600 destinations in approximately 15 countries. The top 30 selected for the class of 2017 show remarkable leadership potential in the tourism industry.

“The VFTCB strives to be a leader among Destination Marketing Organizations,” said Mike Bowman, VFTCB President and CEO.

“This is made possible through the extraordinary efforts of our marketing team, led by Ed and Joe. They make sure the marketing of Valley Forge and Montgomery County is at the cutting edge of industry trends and make our organization an example to follow.”
