Wyncote’s GLOBO CEO Discusses Planned Global Growth

Gene Schriver, CEO and founder of Wyncote’s GLOBO, one of the fastest growing Latino startups in the country, believes that being bilingual is one of the best skills anyone can bring to a company, writes Andrea Rodés for AL DÍA.
This is especially true for his business, which connects its customers from around the globe with translators over the phone, through video, online, and in-person. The company helps people like a doctor in Bangkok who wants to communicate with and treat a French speaking patient.

GLOBO stands out from other companies in the same field by making sure it offers every communication service its clients could need.
“I realized that companies had greatly underestimated the number of people who have limited proficiency in English and, subsequently, they had not planned how they would interact with a large portion of population which did not speak English,” said Schriver in an interview with AL DÍA.
He added that he also wanted to provide larger organizations with a solution to managing multilingual communications at a senior management level.
“I expect we will continue to push the boundaries for our industry, and expect our largest gross year-over-year revenue increase ever in 2017,” said Schriver.
