Nydick, who has served on Montco’s board of the Habitat for eight years, presented the Partner of the Year award to the president of the University, Reverend Peter Donohue, and President of the alumni association, Terence Delaney.
Nydick got involved with Habitat seventeen years ago, when one of his students asked him to serve as a faculty advisor during a spring break trip to Seattle. Since then, the professor and his students have helped dozens of organization’s nationwide.
Today, the professor and his students continue to help in Montgomery County. “This semester I’m asking my students to work with our development people at Habitat to help improve our contribution rates,” said Nydick.
