On Wednesday, May 17 at 11 AM, the King of Prussia District (KOP-BID) will gather local officials, industry partners, and members of the community for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open Phase One of THE PARK at 650 Park Avenue in King of Prussia.

THE PARK is a 450-Foot Linear Park Demonstration Project, located in the heart of the King of Prussia business park.

Following the ribbon-cutting, attendees are encouraged to experience THE PARK and all of its incredible amenities. The free event will feature live music by Swift Technique, food trucks, and outdoor dining.

In fall 2016, KOP-BID began construction on THE PARK’s demonstration project to showcase many of the amenities that the full park will include.

The first-of-its-kind Linear Park is a unique collaboration between KOP-BID, Upper Merion Township, PennDOT, and 21 private property owners (26 parcels) to create an active and vibrant amenity open to the public.

Once complete in late 2018/early 2019, Phase Two of THE PARK will transform currently under-utilized, private lawn areas into a cohesive, continuous, active, and beautiful amenity open to the public.
