Ken Lawrence Jr. recently talked about the challenges and goals of his recent appointment as County Commissioner, writes Lisa Dukart for Main Line Today.
Ken Lawrence Jr. took over the seat vacated by Josh Shapiro in January. In an interview with Main Line Today, he points to the goals during his tenure.
“Economic development, transportation and infrastructure,“ he said. “Community college, as well.“
He also discussed holding the office of his predecessor, Joe Hoeffel, who gave him an internship in the office years before.
It’s a little surreal,” he said. “If you look back on my career, it really started with that internship. It is full circle.”
