Horsham’s Janssen Biotech has partnered with the National Psoriasis Foundation to launch ‘Psoriasis: The Inside Story,’ a campaign that puts the spotlight on the profound impact the disease has on the lives of over 7.5 million Americans.

Katie Lowes, best known for her role in hit television series Scandal, and other leading advocates will use the psoriasisinsidestory.com site to share their own personal perspectives and empower people living with the disease.

With the help of lifestyle experts, the multi-partner program will offer advice on key areas impacted by psoriasis such as staying active, travel, style, and relationships.

“I was diagnosed with plaque psoriasis at a time when I was simultaneously experiencing some of the proudest moments of my life, so when my doctor first told me my diagnosis, I was shocked and embarrassed,” explained Lowes.

“One of the biggest things I’ve learned about living with this disease is that you have to take matters into your own hands.”

By going to www.psoriasisinsidestory.com, visitors will get access to resources and support, including shared personal experiences and tips and advice.

“The National Psoriasis Foundation is proud to partner with Janssen Biotech on Psoriasis: The Inside Story,” said Michael Siegel, Ph.D., Vice President of Research Programs for The National Psoriasis Foundation.
