MCCC, University of the Sciences Sign Transfer Agreement

Montgomery County Community College has signed a transfer agreement with the University of the Sciences, giving its students even more opportunities to transfer to four-year colleges in the region.

As part of the agreement, MCCC students who are in good academic standing and have completed their associate’s degree in any one of seven programs are now able to select any of fourteen different bachelor’s degree programs at USciences.

“The University of the Sciences has an outstanding reputation for preparing students as leaders and practitioners in the healthcare fields and sciences,” noted MCCC President Kevin Pollock, Ph.D.

USciences President Paul Katz, M.D. said that the educational institution is happy to provide access for qualified MCCC students to a number of majors through this partnership, “in order for these students to earn bachelor of science degrees and continue their pathway to rewarding career opportunities.”

The transfer agreement is available to students at MCCC who are receiving associate of science degrees in Business Administration, Engineering Science, Life Science, Physical Sciences, or Psychology, as well as associate of art degrees in Liberal Studies or Mathematics.

Fourteen diverse programs are available to these students at USciences including Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Humanities and Science, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physics or Psychology.
