VFTCB Releases Fun Social Media Video to Promote Hotel Package

To promote its Montco Winter Escape Hotel Package heading into the three-day Presidents Day weekend, the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board has released a fun social media promo video.

The video was filmed at Spring Mountain Adventures and features George Washington and Bubby the Bison from Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown. It was directed and produced by Joe Tacynec and written by Zach Brown, both members of the marketing team at the VFTCB.

Additional production support included drone video filming from Branded Productions of North Wales. The VFTCB positioned the video on social media locally, as well as in markets like New York City, Baltimore, and D.C. to help boost occupancy in Montco’s 74 hotels during a traditionally slow period of the year.

“Just because the weather is cold doesn’t mean you can’t have fun outside, especially in Montco,” said Ed Harris of the VFTCB. “We brought Bubby the Bison from Elmwood Park Zoo and George Washington himself up to Spring Mountain in our newly branded Mini Cooper to deliver the message.

Using drone cameras to capture the action from the air brought an added layer of fun to this ambitious project.”
