Philadelphia’s Juice Merchant Expands into the Main Line

The new Juice Merchant café is expected to open in March in the Narberth space formerly occupied by Art of Bread.

16508028_1210652368987818_4338825930342224466_nPhiladelphia’s The Juice Merchant juicery and café is expanding into the Main Line with a new location in Narberth, writes Kenneth Hilario for Philadelphia Business Journal.

The Juice Merchant is owned by Lenny Bazemore with the heart of the business overseen by managing chef Sean O’Brien.

He has previously worked in well-known Philadelphia restaurants such as Townsend and Pumpkin. The new café is expected to open in March in the space formerly occupied by Art of Bread.

According to the juicery’s spokeswoman, the second outlet will have around 16 seats.

As part of its ongoing growth, The Juice Merchant is also launching an artisan bakery line. Forno Mattarello will offer vegan and gluten-free bread and pastry options made out of locally-sourced ingredients.

Additionally, the company has bought a juice truck to use for public and private events.
