Toll Brothers Looking to Capture Millennial’s Hearts, Dollars with Lower Priced Homes
Horsham’s Toll Brothers is taking a different approach in trying to capture the millennial home buyer market by building a range of more affordable homes, writes Caitlin McCabe for Philly.com.
The new range of homes, called the “T-Select” line is being tested in the Houston, Texas, market. The company also feels that it has the potential for success across the nation. In fact, Toll Brothers division president, David Assid, said T-Select “is not going to be necessarily limited to a market or two or three.”
The millennial age group, born between 1982 and the early 2000s, are notorious for delaying the purchase of a home as they prefer to rent. However, as they get older the desire to buy is growing. Toll Brothers is aiming to fill that need with well priced, good sized homes.
“In this market, to be at a price point of under $450,000 for a new home” is a price segment that is very competitive, stated Assid. “The quality we deliver is top-notch.”
