QA Tech

This position verifies that products are produced to specification and are labeled and packaged properly. He/she verifies that company standard operating procedures, sanitation standard operating procedures, food safety standards, and good manufacturing processes are followed at all times. The person performs audits and carefully documents all findings.

The ideal candidate will preferably have knowledge of beef cuts and product codes. He/she will have good communication skills and interpersonal skills. The person will maintain a good working relationship with plant management, plant employees, and the USDA/FSIS. He/she must be able to lift 60+ repeatedly.

Industrial Engineer

This position develops, installs, and maintains cost effective methods of manufacturing in the ground beef and case ready operation. He/she participates in the initiation phase of new production lines to assist in designing for cost effective manufacturing, layout, labor, and efficiencies. The person prepares detailed layouts of plant facilities to optimize utilization and product flow. He/she performs productivity audits on ground beef and case ready lines.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field. He/she will have a minimum of five years of experience in the food industry, preferably with an emphasis in ground beef and case ready operations. The person will have general knowledge of machinery within kill/processing and case ready beef facilities.

Production Supervisor

This position manages, motivates, supervises, and ensures the safety of hourly employees. He/she ensures that the work area is properly staffed and crewed to meet operational needs. The person is responsible for meeting volume goals, reducing claims, maximizing yields, reducing cost, and employee retention. He/she maintains good working relationships with the union, the USDA, and the maintenance employees.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and managerial skills and will be detail-oriented.
