Audubon Charitable Trust Awards $10k to Colebrookdale Railroad Preservation Trust
Audubon’s Francesco A. Mascaro Charitable Trust has awarded a charitable contribution of $10,000 to the Colebrookdale Railroad Preservation Trust, according to a staff report from The Times Herald.
The contribution will help support the nonprofit’s work on revitalizing local economies through the restoration of the Civil War-era Colebrookdale Railroad. The latest funding is part Mascaro’s long-standing commitment to help improve the quality of life in the communities it serves.
“Mascaro’s support has been critical to our growth and will be critical to our continued success,“ said Nathaniel Guest, Executive Director of the Colebrookdale.
Mascaro’s support is especially welcome as it comes just in time for the railroad’s busiest season, when Santa Claus rides the trains to the joy of young and old alike.
Guest added that the organization’s support for the Trust’s end-of-year campaign will ensure the ongoing employment of staff whose work has already created over $2 million of annual economic impact to Boyertown.
“As we know, jobs are critically needed and Mascaro is helping us make that happen,” he said.
