Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar is joining the slew of new and exciting restaurants in King of Prussia Town Center, writes Gary Puleo for The Times Herald.

The restaurant, which is the sixth in the chain founded by Andy Himmel, will offer mouth watering and spicy flavors from Central America, South America, Cuba, and the Latin Caribbean. The chain also prides itself on raising family food and hospitality to a new level.

The lunch and dinner menus will feature items such as avocado deviled eggs, blackened fish tacos, and rum-glazed Cuban pork, all prepared by executive chef Nelson Rodriguez.

“This is not like your mom and pop restaurant,” said Rodriquez. “What we do is take those dishes from Central America and give them an American-style twist.”

Himmel decided to expand his ever growing franchise to King of Prussia in no small part due to the urgings of company chef, Joe Tis.

“King of Prussia is Joe’s hometown, said Himmel. “It’s always been his goal for us to open a restaurant in King of Prussia.”
